Yes I know both 90's and 100's are going to be hard to come by in April... Hell if Newark can hit 80°F in February there is a chance for at least 90°F after mid April.... And yes Cambium I want Monroe or anywhere near by to reach at least 90°F in April considering how cold the start of April can be. It's only fair IMO.
Here is an interesting comparison...
Los Angeles record highs..
MARCH 99F
APRIL 106F
MAY 103F
Phoenix record highs...
MARCH 100F
APRIL 105F
MAY 114F
Presidio, Texas record highs...
MARCH 105F
APRIL 106F
MAY 114F
Laredo, Texas record highs...
MARCH 105F
APRIL 110F
MAY 114F
Interesting that non desert Los Angeles has similar record highs, with may record high lower than april.
Also interesting is Phoenix, Presidio, and Laredo al have same 114F may record high
The Texas cities have higher march and april records than Phoenix.
Vancouver sees much more snow every year. You have Grouse Mountain that is 20 minutes from downtown and Cypress Mountain which is 30 minutes from downtown.
That's great....I said Vancouver though. Which means urban areas in case you didn't know.
It is crazy how March has been (or will be) our snowiest month of this winter season. Here is a map of the forecast for Saturday:
Here is the Weather Channel forecast for me:
NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch for my area, with a forecast of 3-6 inches, and up to 9 inches in isolated spots. It will be interesting to see how this storm plays out.
Going back to a flat upper level pattern for my area. So boring weather for weeks and no rain.
