First things first, it will be interesting to see how hot things get at the beginning of May. Bull's-eye seems to be on upstate New York, southern Ontario, and even southern Quebec for a change.

This has got to be among the coldest if not the coldest spring I have ever experienced living in the Indianapolis area, at the rate things are going, Indianapolis might just have the coldest spring and summer season in recorded history.

For period of March 1 - April 24 it's the coldest since 1996 there. So 22 yrs

2012 was just out of this world. I was blooming in March and leafed out on many trees by Mid April.. Was pretty crazy to see.

My Maple tree still hasn't bloomed. I need to keep doing updates on it.

Even better... For NYC... Coldest since 1984! Nobody younger than 34 yrs old experienced this cold of a period there. Nice to see we can drop to these levels after some pretty hot Springs in recent decades

Good. It's been a while since Upstate NY truly had above average temps for an extended period of time. Both March and April are among the coldest on record for Syracuse and Binghamton

Can you get a graph like this one for Kansas City?

Sure.. Here you go.. 2013 was colder for the period of March 1 - April 24. Reason 2018 isn't too crazy (16th coldest actually) is because March as a whole wasn't too impressive...However.... See below this

For entire month of April. (Still 6 days to go, I wonder how much bump up you'll get) Wonder if you'll beat the 46.3° average set in 1983

Feb 24 - March 1st had well above normal temps in Binghamton. (6+)

For more than 6 days in a row you have to go back to October.
