As long as they're not too much higher. My ideal summer is cool and rainy, but if it has to be hot (which it does in the Midwest), then I don't want humidity or high severe weather risk.

An update on April 2018
The average temperature for the first 26 days of the month of April in Kansas City is 45.4F. The coldest April on record was 46.3F (1983). If the last four days of the month can pass without raising the average more than 0.9F, this will be the coldest April on record!

Our average april high this year will end up being only 46F ....not sure if a record
but it sure was a cold april this year.

All the heat was west of the Rockies this april,
right now it is 81F in Osoyoos, BC...83F in Oliver, BC.

2nd, first was on 4/10, also 37.8°C, and that was a record tie (previously set in 1989). Today's is not a record though, today's Record High is 40°C (104°F) set in 1992

The top three coolest Aprils all had the official station right on the lakeshore so there was a cool bias. Northerly Island right on the lakeshore so far has a Mean of 38.9F this April.
