this is for late tomorrow. Impressive ridge; appears to be a fast in air mass from cold to warm.

Do the colors represent temperatures or departures from normal?

I actually saw a bit of sleet this afternoon even though the temp was in the low 40's! Too warm for any accumulation.

Forecast is looking better

Exciting! How often do you guys actually see snow? Crazy you are seeing your first frozen precip before my in-laws in Philadelphia have

It will jill. Some places will get some snow in that area. But we won't get super cold here. Another 80+ day here.

It sure has come to my place since 1990. Not that it is man made, just a normal short 1500 year cycle.

Average snow accumulation is about once every 4.6 years.

This past January I got some sleet accumulation with a little snow mixed in. In January 2014, I got 3 inches of accumulating snow in one event. Here are some pics I took. https://www.city-data.com/forum/33159359-post2547.html

Significant Weather Events
I was in fifth grade when that happened. I remember going on Google Earth and seeing snow on the radar overlay in Louisiana and Mississippi and being surprised. I think my teacher may have mentioned it too, since he was originally from New Orleans.

Also, I'm a bit jealous of you seeing frozen precipitation before me.
