Even here, and our sun isn't as strong as yours. It seems like the only time we fail to reach the forecasted high temp is if it's cloudier/wetter than expected, if not we'll match or exceed the forecasted high. Even in the winter.

But I prefer the more conservative forecasts over the more ambitious ones, I'd hate to be disappointed by getting lower temps than I was expecting.
LGA hit 94°F

Impressive heat in the northeast. Looks like many locations up there have now reached higher temps than us so far this season.

It got up to 89F here today.

We reached 91F on April 28, but haven't reached 90F in May yet.

Nothing higher than 89F in the forecast (tomorrow's high). Low 80's for the first half of next week.

Last year our first 90F was on May 12, but in 2015 we didn't reach 90F until May 28!

Forecast - 91°, actual high 86°. Typical Pittsburgh summer day overshoot on a hot day. Every time the forecast says 90 or above, the humidity hitting the foothills of the Laurel mountains gives us clouds.

I'm not complaining, I'm actually happy it was more comfortable than predicted haha.

Looks like we maxed out at 89 F/32 C. Crap weather, but at least it isn't humid. One more hot day tomorrow then back to normal.

Assuming this is a two day heat blast, we need +45.6 departures on those two days just to break even lol. We need +6.1 departures the rest of this month from this point on to finish above average
