Probably humidex.

If so, a temperature of 31°C with a humidex of 35 yields a dew point of 15.7°C, RH of 40%.

Lows this morning. 60s and 70s inside and around NYC. Summerlike and where max normals are but to have an 80+ low that no other Eastern US site had north of Miami?

They only dropped 14 degrees off yesterdays high? The 80 low is well above the normal max. Lol
Was in the 40s couple days ago. Talk about unstable. Goodbye below normal month?
I took a screenshot of the minimums of all weather stations in NYC from this map

LaGuardia looks high but not out of range. The only other station nearby recorded 77°F. Brooklyn was in the mid 70s. Without the heat island, NYC would had lows 67°F to 71°F?

I know you guys hate humidex.

Anyway the highest dewpoint yesterday was 17C. Relative humidity of around 50% for most of the day.

Right now the dewpoint is 16C, RH is 58%. Humidex 31C.

La Guardia is quickly joining my list of suspicious stations. Always considerably hotter than any other main station in NY metro, despite being located in an open airport, not in wall street...or actually the station is in the middle of a depression below sea level unknown till now?

dew points dropping in Boston, will they drop here? I assumed they'd slowly rise until the cold front but more low humidity air in the northern interior since it's May?

If there isn't one already someone should do a thread of suspicious stations. I know of one or two I could add to the list.

I don't have time but do you guys remember when they changed the station in D.C because they realized it was reading to hot... or was it the fan they replaced on it? This was after years or maybe months of waiting? Wonder if they ever adjusted those false hotter temps. I think it had its own thread. I forget.

Also one in New Orleans I think. Or that was due to construction site nearby tearing down the grass and trees or something?
