SteelerNation71, quit complaining, Indianapolis only made it to 83 Degrees Today, well below the forecast high of 86 we were supposed to get. Saturday could well be the last 80+ Degree day here, probably for the rest of the month of May judging by the extended forecast and the 6-10 and 8-14 day temperature outlook, if anyone should be sorely disappointed it ought to be people like me- Rochester, New York has cooler springs and summers on average than Indianapolis any way.
It's hard not to complain when you live in one of the worst climates in the United States. If there is one thing uniting Rochester, Binghamton, Syracuse, and Buffalo, it is horrible climates
Already up to 72 at 7AM. It didn't drop below 67 last night. First 60 degree low of the year? Probably not as there's a cold front coming through tonight, but idrc as I'm not a fan of warm nights.
Depending on when the storms come today, we could have a high anywhere between 80 and 90. I'm hoping for the higher end of that range. With yesterday's warmth, the average high for the month rose from 58.2 to 59.9. Still well below average, but not 10 degrees below average like before. The mean is only 3.2 degrees below average, but there doesn't seem to be much above average weather coming to pull it up further.
After 3.17" fell on 5 days in the first week of May, just 0.16" has fallen on 1 day since then. I much prefer the recent pattern.
