Even here, and our sun isn't as strong as yours. It seems like the only time we fail to reach the forecasted high temp is if it's cloudier/wetter than expected, if not we'll match or exceed the forecasted high. Even in the winter.
But I prefer the more conservative forecasts over the more ambitious ones, I'd hate to be disappointed by getting lower temps than I was expecting.
Forecast - 91°, actual high 86°. Typical Pittsburgh summer day overshoot on a hot day. Every time the forecast says 90 or above, the humidity hitting the foothills of the Laurel mountains gives us clouds.
I'm not complaining, I'm actually happy it was more comfortable than predicted haha.
Assuming this is a two day heat blast, we need +45.6 departures on those two days just to break even lol. We need +6.1 departures the rest of this month from this point on to finish above average
