Satellite loop as the sun comes up. The white areas aren't moving. That's snow cover.
Trying to get the sat data, but as usual, NASA worldview isn't working right. Or rather, isn't working at all.

9 times out of 10 it doesn't work.

(edit)

OK got it to work. Here's the sat data for snow.

That is from the MODIS Sat March 19 2017

No image yet for today. But it's coming down even as I type this.

Here's another look at the current snow cover. I'm trying to picture how it feels & looks like Spring in those areas without snow. All I keep seeing is white outside. lol

My family 25 min from NYC said they still have snow too. Weirder even south of me. lol

There hasn't been any snow cover here in days, only piles now. Temp is approaching 50°F / 10°C, it feels good in the sun.

And speaking of sun, the max sun angle reaches 50° here tomorrow.

Zero snow cover since March 18th at the airport and 17th in the city. Suburbs west of the city here have 2" of snow cover and NJ suburbs east of city have zero now.

Looks like the forecast high of 60F isn't gonna happen today. As of 2 in the afternoon in Indianapolis the temperature is a measly ****ing 46 Degrees, looks like high temperatures will be a major bust today; I am not even so sure temperatures will crack 50 F at the way things are evolving right now
