1.36" yesterday puts Providence into 9th wettest April and we aren't done! 6 inches of rain this month there!

6.68" of rain in last 2 days in Raleigh! Off the charts. Wettest April on record since late 1800s! Nobody alive today experienced an April this wet!

Meanwhile our rainfall is around half of normal. 1.65" this month.

Current 12pmEST map..

Couple things..

1. Snowing in MN/ND. Sleet in some areas.

2. Remember the center of the Upper Low was over the Carolinas 2 days ago? Now look where it is. Over Atlantic City. (typically slow to move). Causing Clouds, and 50s in the region.

3. SUNNY from Michigan through Ohio Valley and into SouthEast. Someone send us a picture of what the sun looks like please!

Let me guess... May-June-July-August will be well above torching hot normal.

All I asked was for Sun and 60s. Is that so hard to get? Now we're in May and we need May to be below normal to get that. #NoSpring

Beautiful spring day here. A pinch above average, typical mid-May weather

Mid-70s here, another afternoon temperature peak. Aside from maybe a couple of bad days, this has been a dreamlike April. Tons of 60s and 70s, nice and rainy, and even in the worst case scenarios we usually reach high 50s. A complete opposite of the dreadful 2013-2016 Aprils

5pmEST Pop Quiz: Where is the Upper Low.
Hint: Not where the 70s or 80s are.

20s and 30s as a max this time of year must feel strange.

Wonderful. Can't wait for the new clouds to come. Not one poke of sun today. Looks hopeful for tomorrow. Probably mostly cloudy though

Severe storms along that line!
