Due to the whole British airways crap, looks like my flight tomorrow has been changed per an American Airlines representative. Going to Chicago tomorrow for a brief stop then straight to amman.
Amman looks a bit cooler than North Carolina in the summer, and never ending sunshine. Nice but boring?

NYC stands at -0.9 degrees for Month Average departure yet only 6 days were above normal with the max temp. 5 with the minimum. Without those few hot days it would of been at least -2 below normal this month.

19 days the max stayed below 70. Most since 2005.

I suppose, I'm glad I will be back before hurricane season ramps up and July finishes. Only exciting thing I can hope for in Amman is extreme heat. Hope we get some sandstorms which have recently become more of a common occurrence.

Don't ever forget this month and what it reminded us of... Every time you look at the month departures, you're being deceived. lol. I wont forget this one in particular.

Not including today, the avg high is -1.9F below average at NYC/Central Park. It's the minimums that have narrowed the deviation of the Mean... NYC/LGA however has exactly the 30 year average max temps for the month up to the 27th.... 70.6F

Yup. Confirms my rant about the clouds lately. Lots of clouds, normal-warmer nights.

Data for NYC.. The shades are the below/above departures for that day

Notice the minimum was "0" while the daytime max is 4-9 below norm

Haven't had an above normal max since 19th.

^^

It's been awfully cloudy here too. Chicago's problem is more of the persistent lake winds keeping max temps down... ORD's avg max as of yesterday is a mere 66.6F. Normal is 69.4F as of the 27th... Almost -3F.... IKK's doing a bit better. Avg high as of today is 70.9F... Fully month 30 year avg is 72.5F.
