The sun just came out following 0.1" of rain this morning. With 5.25", this May is the 16th wettest on record. It's currently 65, and never fell below 63 this morning. Supposed get into the 70s later. The stubborn negative anomaly is hanging on at -0.6.
The line of storms last night brought a good amount of wind and lightning, but it was weakening a bit as it approached here. I ended up with 1.92" of rain for the day. The airport received 2.13" yesterday.
For some reason Wunderground isn't showing rainfall data on the hourly data, but it still showed the daily total yesterday.
56 F/13 C and cloudy with showers...not expected to get out of the 50s today. Aside from the three day heat blast, been a very nice month. No signs of heat in the forecast either. Lets continue to this through September.

With yesterday's rainfall of 0.92 inches, Indianapolis has now seen 8.51 inches of rainfall for May 2017, good for the 8th wettest May on record and the wettest since 2004 which had 8.55 inches; the monthly temperature anomaly departure for Indianapolis according to data through yesterday is -0.4 Degrees Below average for May 2017, and since today's averaged temperature will most likely be near normal, I don't expect that the negative temperature anomaly will change by more than a few tenths of a degree for the month as a whole, which means that my prediction for May 2017's temperature was right on the money.
Turned into a nice day--currently 74 with a 59 dew and sunshine.
