76 and sunny with a 52 dew. 3rd straight day of upper 70s and sun. The second half of May has really made up for the beginning. Looks like 0.03" of rain fell this morning--5.29" for the month, but it's been sunny since.

Yesterday's low of 61 was the second 60+ low of the year. Today could be the 3rd--it hasn't fallen below 60 yet.

The negative anomaly has now been cut to just -0.3. Today could make that up, so it will all come down to tomorrow...

Those infographics, though nice, are very misleading. Posting forecasts longer than 7 days is trully silly and the only they would achieve doing that is the mistrust by the common people.

Back in the states!

Got greeted with 90 F with a 72 F dew point , ironically it was also 90 F in Berlin yesterday but was a much drier heat with a much less intense sun angle, plus it cooled off much more at night there. Was in the lower 60s this morning as I was leaving.

Eastern Maine looking nice this morning as well as Ohio

9:30am map. I heard the NYC subway had the heat on. 56°F here.

Wtf! This is almost 20° below average in New York! It would be like getting highs in the mid-60s in mid-July

Yup..near normal minimums past 48hrs. Check out NYC. Hasn't past 60 today yet. Only 6 times above normal this month.

At least they'll end up below normal for the month but one must wonder by how much without those 3 days.

We've really lucked out the last few days. Usually the east coast gets the warmth and we don't, but it was 15-20 degrees warmer here than in NYC the last few days. After the big heat wave, the warmth seems have shifted west. Since the 19th, we've had 5 days over 75 but none in NYC.

It's 74 with a 40 dew here now. Ominous storm clouds just to the southeast, but blue sky overhead.

I'm beginning to forget what the sun looks like. It was sunny for a few hours Friday afternoon, but that's the last sustained (barely) amount of sun we had. Today was another dreary, damp, wet day with a high of only 61 F/16 C. I'll happily take this over any heat.

The rest of the week looks seasonable with highs in the mid-70s but early next week is looking anemic again with forecast highs only around 70 F/21 C.
