just all overcast here, can't see cloud shapes out here. Sky got darker, but feels like a higher cloud than what we had this morning and the last few days.

Edit: needed to go outside, cloud shapes were impressive. it's not all overcast

Northwestern Hampden County in western Massachusetts...

* Until 645 PM EDT

* At 611 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Guilford Center to Ashfield to near Lee, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Westfield, Holyoke, Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, Orange,
Deerfield, South Hadley, Easthampton, Montague, Southampton,
Hadley, Sunderland, Hatfield, Northfield, Williamsburg, Huntington,
Bernardston, Buckland and Conway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately.

Will that entire line fill in the gap or will that Hudson Valley warned line come to you? Stay safe. Torrential downpours within and lightning. If it holds up.


North Central MA looks nasty. South Deerfield getting hammered. Isnt today 1yr anniversary of the Springfield MA Tornado?
