Yup, that's why spring here is called "Cooler by the Lake" season. 25-30 miles away from the lake it will be 80 degrees today... Even 10 miles away it will be in the 70s...

Well. was good while it lasted. Just cloudied over. 4 hrs of sunlight today.


I been keeping track since the full sunny day on the 21st.


6 hours of sun shining in last 137 hours. (5.7 days)

Those areas of light showers are moving SE so no threat to me unless something develops more in Hudson Valley

Sun angle is far too strong here this far south in May, love the clouds this time of year.

I'm getting to that point where I'm like screw it... So be it but not there yet! But do you have any idea the effect it has on a body and mind not to see sunlight? Its suffocating, its miserable. Spring and Fall is when I want it most. I'll suffer through the sun angle heat for sunlight now at least for another 3 weeks.

And does that say water temps are in the 80s?
