You can try to make snow in March seem "below average", but in Upstate New York, snow in March is normality. March is a wolf, a winter month in spring's clothing. The average weather on March 1st here is 36/20; very wintry. Sometimes we get lucky and get a March like last year, or like 2012 where it's nice and springlike, but in general the March in Upstate NY is going to be ****ty. It's not a good month

On the 3rd day of Meteo Spring we have ................ A possible Clipper coming down from Canada taking the path I drawn here.

Maybe dropping 1-3" snow in its path

This frame is Friday 7am from latest GFS

Looks like an Alberta Clipper....that's what we call them
Alberta Clipper or sometimes a Colorado Low....either of them brings us the white stuff

Tbf in Upstate New York even record breaking warmth in winter is still really cold. 36F highs instead of 34F still feel very chilly. Altho the past week certainly isn't very winterlike
