I have gotten robbed before at gunpoint so that feeling has stuck to me for quite a while. Ironically it was in the middle of the day. I try to put on my mean face when walking around at night lol
That sucks. Luckily, I've never been victimized by crime here even though I've walked through really bad neighborhoods here at night. I guess me being 6'1" and 225 pounds helps?
I've also been taking boxing/kickboxing classes since 2012 so I'm sure of how to defend myself.

I'm 5'10' and 175 so I definitely don't have the size on my side. I thought about carrying around a knife, but I read that having a knife in self defense just increases the chances of damage to both parties

Well, our 10 day forecast doesn't include any temperatures above freezing... Except Wednesday next week with 1/-4'C, but that day also has 10 mm of precipitation as well...

My city is quite calm by Swedish standards, especially this time of the year.
