Lots of energy. Pacific is fueled and ready for US to rock and roll?

If GFS keeps indicating the Polar Jet to dive down after mid month and all these energy driven storms from Pacific continue, heads up. One big widespread snow storm gotta happen at some point

Man, when Eastern U.S is warm, Alaska reminds us what Alaska is about. Lol

Good question. Not sure. Here's the current temps.

20s and 30s again in the south. Nice. Florida is ridiculous.

Colder here (30F) than on top of Mt Washington at 6200' (34F) . In fact its colder in parts of the south.

Sunflowers still blooming in NYC, I had to do a double take. I miss the heat island, I still hate everything else about the place though.

Looks like one of those weird mornings where NYC suburbs and Mid-Atlantic are colder than most of New England and upstate NY...

Alaska looks soo nice. I don't see a single above-zero F number for at least another week in Fairbanks' forecast...

44°F in Burlington this morning. They were recording clouds and wind, so little radiational cooling. Berlin, New Hampshire about 10 miles north of Mt. Washington had clouds.

Strange weather pattern at the summit... 18°F and freezing fog at 4 am, 2 hours later 36°F and clear. Couldn't have been the sun warming it up. Wind shifted from west to northwest. Some spots from 2500-4000 feet nearby are reporting 6-7 inches of snow on the ground. Might melt this weekend.
