It's snowing decently hard right now.

It's not sticking to the ground so far and is supposed to change into rain in the afternoon (at least at the airport station - I'm further inland and higher in elevation so it may stick as snow for me), but this is our first snowfall since November 29th, 2014 and may end up being our biggest one since February 2014. Let's see how this plays out.

Nice. Keep us posted.

Who's reporting what at the moment. At the Vancouver airport they are only reporting a mix so far. Wind chill of 31F.

Lots of locations reporting snow, just not in the Eastern U.S. lol (ignore that one in PA, that's Bedford at 1161'. 43F and +7C aloft. Not snowing)

The mildness in the UK continues - 16C or 61F widely reported today and record breaking minima.

Of course, if that stupid dick from N.Ireland is still on these forums he'll swear there's a blizzard over there, lol.

Lmao...hope he's ok, nah, really I don't; there is no worse combination than stupidity, arrogance and youth.

Nice tongue there. Looks like Portugal in for a cool down but most of Europe like Eastern U.S. Any current precip radar maps from there? I never see any posted.

Speaking of which....

Will this rain end yet? Looks like not for couple hours. Under the moderate yellows now. Wish I was in Northern Maine! Snow depth this morning was 9" at the north border.

Dewpoint in upper 60s and even 70 in North Carolina. Will post in DP thread. Nasty squall line there.

I'm not seeing a super blowtorch look on the GFS model. Yes, warmer than average, but cold enough nearby to produce snow here and there in certain areas over the next 2+ weeks.
