Low of 32 F this morning. This is from my personal station, because my area's crappy official station has been offline since yesterday morning. Highs this afternoon are expected to be in the mid 50s.

How on earth could there be so much difference between Ft Pierce and Titusville?

Saw a few snowflakes while out to lunch less than an hour ago. Cloudy, windy, and 36 F/2 C with a windchill of 29 F/-2 C now.

At Islip, this December so far is 26F warmer than February was.

An average December should be 3F warmer than an average February.

LOL

Well if you look at the past as a hint, yes Feb could end up brutally cold. This kind of winter mildness has never lasted all winter long except for maybe the bizarre year of 2012. We will pay for this later.

Thank You Lake Erie. Flurrying lightly here. Feels like 24F with the wind which has been gusting to 25mph all day.

It got down to 26 last night, which is the coldest air so far this season. It's nice knowing that even in warm winter months, it can still get cold.
