Looks like quite an active day for severe weather, at least in the South... and in Saskatchewan?

Yeah....

Not looking like a very festive summery Fourth for you

High was a only 77F/25C at ORD, MDW, and in my suburb today...

Decent holiday forecast, but Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are abysmal for us here... Some signs of at least average weather late next week...

Love those purples.

At least you got upper 80s in there.. Here's for this area.. No 90s in sight and pretty much no mid 80s either.

Got a slight chance of drizzle on Tuesday with a high of 34°C

That will sure help the wildfire situation

It rained again here in southern Indiana today just like it has every day for the past week. Soil moisture values are back up, and since March through July 3rd there has been 26 inches of rain here.

GFS says July 13th will be a sad day.. Practically no air at 850mb level is below freezing in the entire northern hemisphere. . Not even over the Arctic. Only tiny little pockets around

Not sure how this compares to normal (I thought I remembered seeing a nice chunk even in July/August).

And here's the Southern Hemisphere.

I should change that darker color, don't like how it looks
