Or Colorado. Apparently a car race was stopped because it started snowing on Pikes Peak.

Fishing is banned on Vancouver Island, not in the interior or lower mainland. Campfires are banned provincewide as of July 3rd, though.

June was very dry for most of BC. Penticton actually saw near average precipitation, but only because we got 9 mm from storms on one of the last days of June.

Storms Monday night

After tomorrow's chance of a 90 degree temp, a couple of very cool days.... Maybe some decent heat next weekend?

Yes, the fires in BC affected us too. Today (Sunday) was the 5th consecutive day over 90 which ties a previous record, but 4 more are expected until Thursday.

For once the Okanagan is saved from all the smoke, despite having one of the fires contributing to all the smoke on the coast.

Seriously though, the fire situation is getting out of hand. Praying for some storms or just some kind of rainfall.

Between a cooling Atlantic, Strong High Pressure, Dry Air & Dust, and Wind Shear, no worries for Tropical Systems anytime soon
