It rained again here in southern Indiana today just like it has every day for the past week. Soil moisture values are back up, and since March through July 3rd there has been 26 inches of rain here.
GFS says July 13th will be a sad day.. Practically no air at 850mb level is below freezing in the entire northern hemisphere. . Not even over the Arctic. Only tiny little pockets around
Not sure how this compares to normal (I thought I remembered seeing a nice chunk even in July/August).
And here's the Southern Hemisphere.
