Even a low dew point in Florida for this time of year is too high.

I can hear thunder while it's still sunny out. Thunderstorms must be moving in. Ugh, I hate thunderstorms.

^ Actually, looking now at the radar, it doesn't look like much for the time being, and it seems it'll be passing me to the north. Unfortunately, there may still be thunderstorms tonight.

The storm earlier just missed me to the north as well. Sun is back out, maybe a few more will form.

So far this month we're running comfortably above average, especially thanks to the warm nights. The diurnal range doesn't even reach 5°C at Nice airport.

Month to date:

Hi/lo: 29.1/24.2°C (84/76°F)
Avg: 26.7°C/80°F

180 hours of sun
0 mm

Hot weather is on its way. 850 mb temps h+54 according to the GFS:

I'm between the 588 and the 592 for the entire period.

That 102°F high on Paris' forecast does look out of place.

It wouldn't on Lyon's forecast.

Before this summer I assumed you loved above average temps in summer, but it seems like you're content with your averages. Do you prefer this July or the last one?

Well actually I like hot and sunny summers but not the extreme ones. If I could choose, I would prefer this extra warmth in all of the other seasons and especially in winter. This July is probably going to be 4°C above average!
This month is still much better than the last year's one, which was totally autumn like and the worst one in decades, too much rainfall and clouds to be considered a summer month, it was quite shocking.

Nice-looking line of t-storms to the north of us, inbound for the ATL.

They've got us under a watch - keeping my fingers crossed we'll get rocked tonight.
