My oh my where have you been?
Air mass aloft is cold and carrying a chilly wind

Below freezing temps at 4000 feet
Its days like this that you wish to keep

Air mass and Surface winds from the North West
After 2 weeks of summer this is truly the best

A relief, A reminder, perhaps a reason
That air masses come and go just like the seasons

Rest assure this won't last
and soon it will just be part of the past

Surprised how hot it can get being an island. Hawaii can't get as hot, record is 100°F and high 90s is rare. Is it from being so near a continent?

Jet Stream Buckles down to Mexico again, South heat surge for central U.S and that will be moving East by end of Weekend. Notice New England north of the Jet until it pushes northwards and out into Atlantic then New England warms up (Sat-Sunday).

Storms are usually on the Right side of the Jet between the heat and cold, Left side of the Heat/Dewpoint surge north

So according to this, the PDO (Warm Pacific) is not the driver in the weather pattern anymore since April.

This is showing the anomalies using the PDO for Aprils and what actually happened. Conversation in the thread pointing out El Nino took over and Atlantic ocean helped Southeast.

But I'm tired of hearing people and meteorologists trying to point out one thing was the cause.. Weather and Climate is a marriage. A bunch of things. Stop trying to pick something.

Just took a photo outside my house.. a lovely 21C here with clear blue sunny skies, not a cloud all day. Very nice indeed.
