A very warm night across the East Coast and the South as most places are showing around July's average low.

Fayetteville, NC might see the first 90s temperature of the season since October 11th.

Despite Weakening, Ana to Further Soak Carolinas

Summerlike Warmth to Ease in Northeast by Midweek as Ana Brings Moisture

Luckily Tropical Storm Ana wouldn't give a severe impact in my area.

What do you call the Southwest? Extreme? That's dry heat and I think many would agree. 60s DP is NOT dry no matter what your tolerance is and that's what even inland gets in summer. DPs in the 40s even low 50s in Summer with temps above 80, I would agree is dry for Northeast, but even MA when temps goes consistently above 75, its not a dry heat.

Normal is 30s?? I think you're stuck in April. LOL.

April normal Dewpoints are 30s for us. May it's 40s (low 50s for me). June its 50s for you (60s for me).

So those 30s G8RCAT showed for BDR would be well below normal this time of year. Dry!

Latest Euro for Bridgeport,CT. Models have been backing off returning Summer after this cold front comes through tomorrow. Pretty much seasonable Wednesday to the end of the run. Saturday looks chilly with clouds and rain

Northern CT temp graph. Normal max temps was 60s and they been 80s and 90s. 2nd warmest May 1-10 period in 110 yrs.

Look at the morning lows right now and yesterday. Pretty much near where the normal max should be. Warm morning right now.

Last seven days, Texas and the Plains getting soaked. Wetter than normal here too

next 45 days normal precip here, above normal in most of the US, but I could see the Southeast and the Northeast getting hot (as they already are)

Highly unlikely that his will be a widespread super hot scorching summer in most of the US

One of the warmest starts to May for many. Here's Hartford and Buffalo for May 1-10 period.
Normal is 53.5°F at BUF so they +11.4 above norm! !

BDL is 9.2 above normal.

Any hope of rain in the SE in my lifetime? I'm getting pretty disgusted at not seeing any rain for over 2 weeks now, and this "30% chance" of showers isn't gonna cut it.

Maybe I'll luck out and see some rain when I'm in Paris.

This is why I hate summer - it's always hot and it's always sunny and dry. Never fails.
