El Tiempo. Datos: Canarias - Resúmenes diarios anteriores - Mapa - Temperatura máxima (°C) - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología - AEMET. Gobierno de España

Let's take a look at the current heatwave on the Canary Islands.
The Inland Microclimates of Gran Canaria have been sweltering.
Valleseco a mountain town 1000m asl reached 39,3°C yesterday
San Bartolome Tirajana, Lomo Pedro Alfonso averaged a crazy mean temperature of 30,3°C yesterday. (36,8/23,9)
The coastal places have been significantly colder, barely above average. Las Palmas/Gran Canaria Airport--> 26,3/17,8

It will stay warm for the next few days, not only on the Canary Islands, but also on the mainland of Spain.
The 40°C will probably get beaten the next few days there too.

Yup. Watering garden and A/C going on like its July.

This morning is another wow factor. I don't mind the warm muggy mornings as much as the warm muggy daytimes but its beginning of May.

Forecast looks rather dry, when does this end? This is longer than other years.

Low of 69°F overnight, very warm for May. Room cooled down to 75°F overnigh.

The forecast for Paris looks mighty sweet the first couple of days I'm there - highs in the 60's. Heckuva lot better than 90...lol. Coming back to the heat is going to be incredibly hard - I should have booked the trip for 2 weeks...lol.

Mmm. What could more relaxing than sitting in front of a window on a warm summer morning with the fan blowing on me and drinking coffee? [75°F inside, 72°F outside] Need to get up.
