the first 2 weeks of may look awesome with temps in the low and mid 80s every day almost. I wouldn't be surprised if we got our 90 degree day then especially considering on average we get the first 90 degree day in beginning of may. anyways summer here starts on may 16 as that is the start of the warm season here according to what I have read as on may 16 is when the average high rises to 80.
Widespread wind damage across south Louisiana yesterday morning and two tornado reports. The northern end of the storm complex went though my location.
Forecast shows rain for me Sunday. Sunshine for nyc. I wonder what's they're seeing?
Haven't checked. Guessing either associated with off shore storm or a weak cold front ? All I know is 70s next week. Models did back off on intensity. Instead of mid 80s now just 80-83 for a day or 2.
There does to seem a cool break would get in again but seems like the cool breaks are shorter them the warmth coming.

I'm so looking forward to these coming days too! Highs consistently above 70F for several days in a row for the first time since last September, and lows in the 50s!
