I think that forumers were already talking about this...

Surprisingly cool in NC!
58F in El Paso WTF!

99F in Miami/Fort Lauderdale is hot indeed, they barely crack 100F ever (at least near the coast).
Even 98F at my parents condo in Hallandale, oy vey!

Only a few degrees warmer than here, El Paso normal high in late april is about 83F

As tom77falcons would say "only in north America"...

Actually winter is much more dramatic than that in the South. One day 75F, next day 30F.

About 200 miles north of the Montana border, Saskatoon, Canada.

1 foot of snow fell (30 cm). People lost power since it was heavy and wet. Broke the previous 2 day April record. Police cancelled their marathon.

You can see why they got some snow. Little kink in the Jet pushed down so cold air able to penetrate south and of course location luck with where the storm & moisture was.

Even with this cooler than normal period the last week or so, it still looks as if we will see our first above average month since December here.

Predicted average high for this month (1981-2010 averages)

ORD:60.2F (59.0F)
MDW: 62.3F (60.0F)

Data from latest GFS for northern CT. (Found out how to view the max/min with it)

1. Steady with 40s/50s/60s next 5 days at least. After this weekend warm-up comes.. It did delay it 1 day now though. Starts Monday, not Sunday. We'll see. Coast is cooler naturally.

2. Couple rain chances and Friday storm still up in the air.

3. Dewpoints stay below 60 next week

4. Maybe 80s in 2 weeks? Its coming sooner or later. I'm enjoying this week. Someone get me a bottle. LOL
