I'm surprised my area was so cool yesterday while Florida was experiencing record heat. I'd noticed it was hot there, but I didn't check the forum to realize how hot it was.
It was so cool here that I mowed the lawn in a long sleeved shirt and I didn't even break a sweat. It reminded me of the summer days we sometimes get where the high is only in the lower 70s and it stays overcast and damp all day.
Figure I take a sneak peak before April is officially done. Sure enough.... Looks like it will be the coldest Jan-Feb-Mar-April on record now for CT sites..
Syracuse & Providence as well.
Not Albany, Boston, Buffalo or Burlington. I didn't check any others.
Had a severe thunderstorm warning earlier. Was out to Cracker Barrel when it started to hail. Looks like we got about an inch of rain. No hail at my house, even though it was only a mile or two away.
We had easily the best thunderstorm of the year so far earlier today. Torrential rain, lots of lightning. Posted a pic right after it. It's on the Spring Photo Thread.
