Zilch on the rain today.

Our next chance is Friday through the the weekend, but it's still just "chance' - not what I need to be seeing.

Any hope of an active tropical season this year? We need a monster storm to come up out of the Gulf and spin itself out over Atlanta for a solid week.

Summer would be so much easier for me to deal with if it would rain every now and then - this hot and dry crap is the worst combination possible.

June 23- July 23 here had both, though more above average temperatures than rainfall

First 80s of this season = March 11th at 1:00PM
First 90s of this season = May 12th at 2:00PM (Peaking 92°F at 3:00PM)

Now, will it happen triple digit temperature this summer? Recent observed date was July 9th, 2014.

My Max/Min so far this month. 6 days in the 80s and not even at mid point of month.

Here, hot summers are usually drier, but 2010 was the 5th hottest summer on record and also had above average rainfall.

Persistent cloud cover has kept the temperature below 80F the past two days. Also, we haven't received the rainfall and thunderstorms that were originally forecast.

Still haven't reached 90F yet this year, but it got close this past weekend.

Cool, dry, fresh and breezy...nice break from the stagnant heat and humidity.

Currently 63 F/17 C with a dewpoint of 45 F/7 C (humidity 52%). Divine.
