I hate that TWC map. They have NYC, Boston and nothing in between. lol

Scroll down. Mesonet | Air Temperature

Hit 88º before that. The dewpoint is still 65F and looks like a second round is trying to set up.

Another upper 80s day today and a July morning. Month Avg departure should be above +10° now.
As of yesterday we are +8º above the average high, but only +1º for the low.

Boston is 52° right now. Hartford 81! Sea Breeze and Backdoor cold front I believe.

I would love to be in Iowa right now at 6pm

Line of storms fell apart as it reached here this morning, but then re-formed to the south and east. I didn't hear any thunder and all we had was some light to moderate rain.

Still it stayed cloudy most of the day, and high was only 76F, a lot lower than the mid 80's that were forecast.

It's been very hot here (lower 90sF) for the past few days...but not for those in the northern plains and rockies who got snow! Here is a snow cover map for this morning.

I was thinking about that today. Bone dry, bitter cold air with snow just a couple months ago and here we are now in the tropics again (exaggeration, but it is quite muggy).

Wednesday will be crisp and refreshing.
