GFS for July 1st afternoon has 90s interior coastal plain.

June 2014 is well on its way toward becoming the second consecutive month to post a temperature surplus in Chicago.

To date, June 2014 is running 2.5-degrees above normal, which places it among the warmest 27% of all Junes on the books here since 1871.

In terms of precipitation, June 2014 has the distinction of being the city’s wettest since 2009.

As of the 20th the Mean temp at MDW is 71.7F

Whoa. 92F feels like 100F in Daytona Beach, DP 72. OBS at 2pm with the strongest sun of the year. But now thunderstorm activity has moved in. It's been quite dry there this month, only 3.05" through yesterday.

The air has dried out for the time being at my house, dew is 65 with an air temp of 85. Feels pleasant today.

I see 98 as the max heat index recorded couple hours ago at Daytona (DAB)..

20th driest June so far. Last time they ended up with 3.05" or less in June was in 2010 & before that was 1998. Hot Summer Years?
