Could be. Not much support for it but I'm sure there's a spot of 2 near or at that mark. That's Petersburg, Virginia.

Here's mesonet map with more stations.

Near Roanoke Rapids 98°F

Thunderstorms were headed for NYC and Long Island but they kept collapsing. Airmass getting too stable to keep a storm going so it falls apart. Storms will stay south of NY now for next few days.

Weather around here is going to be amazing tomorrow, Sat, and Sunday!!

Big cluster of thunderstorms around Cincinnati and back to Indy, heading this general direction.

Quite steamy out ahead of it.

Still recovering from the awesomeness that just happened. A little after 5:30, this little pocket of drizzle popped up, so good we're finally getting some rain. Out of NOWHERE, big crashing cloud-to-ground lightning erupts all over the place, and continued within a 10 mile radius for almost 2 hours!! Now there is more behind it and the region has exploded with storms. The one that just passed had a severe and flash flood warning on it.

Started with a morning minimum of 72F, got to 90, dew point was never below 69, and then over an hour of Florida quality lightning. This has been one of my happiest summer weather days ever, certainly in Kentucky, and even now as I write this thunder is beginning again.
