Yes, it is University Tower, aka the “Pickle” in Durham, North Carolina. It stands as a lonely greenish giant overlooking the road from Durham to Chapel Hill, connecting Duke with the University of North Carolina, a part of the so-called “Tobacco Road.” Seeing the London pic made me think of its “Gherkin” building, and my mind wandered from there. I actually wondered if a Russian version of SluggoF16 would get it first, after having had memorized important visual landmarks for Mig 29 strike package preparations for a “Red Dawn” style attack on the U.S....
