Ya, you betcha. A good one don’t ya know. Many years ago I visited the reservation at Leech Lake and had a coworker from the area. Non sequitur, I still can’t look at a wood chipper without cringing a bit after Fargo came out. Had to use one this week. Happy Holidays to all! N

Ok, let’s go to a place where Santa has a stretch goal...but there is in fact a McDonalds.

Not on the Arabian peninsula. In addition to the McDonalds, it also has a Catholic Cathedral, which was probably not very crowded on Christmas Eve. Feliz Navidad.

Previous guess was definitely much closer. West of Ceuta, and more in that big desert to the south. The cities do share some (colonial) history and disputed governance with neighbors.

Hmmm only 4 countries in Africa have got McDonald's. Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt & South Africa. West of Ceuta will mean that this place is not in Africa. Desert reminds me of Atacama Desert in South America.
Is that La Calera of Chile which has a huge Palestinian Population?

Still on the continent of Africa, just west (and south) of Ceuta. East of the Canary Islands. The desert is the Sahara. Some still question if it is even in a country...
