Wow, I guess I am the odd man out here. I picked the "no density" option and thought it was still too crowded . Our County is 57ppsm and it is plenty dense enough for my tastes, too much so at times in fact. The last County I lived in was 11ppsm and that was just about right.
its not odd, you like being the king of your kingdom.
well his location says metro - the majority of people even in NE metros live in more a suburban setting. They exist everywhere, a differance is you can live in the suburbs in some cities and be minutes or a quick train ride to very urban places
What do you think most people dwelling on City vs. City are like? I bet most of them are single, have no family and little social life. They need living in a dense neighborhood to peace their mind, and then they make use of that density by posting here in their apartment buildings...

I think more people find having a house with a yard for the kids and dogs to run around in more attractive than being packed in like sardines in a townhome or high rise complex.
I know density may be ideal for the younger more fast paced individuals, but some people act like that is everyone's ideal.
I am wondering in terms of a particualar area's density. How large of an area are they using to determine an area density? I am thinking depending on how its divided you can get large variations on numbers.
There are also different types of density. Some areas might have commercial establishments and offices mixed in with the residences while other areas they are very seperate. You can see places of similar density with either planning setup.
think I would go bonkers living in a boring suburb or in a rural area!
Agreed. Even though SoCoast has sprawl, it still has that buzz of life that enables me to live there. I don't think you find that buzz in other places though.
