Good luck to the Rays tonight. Just getting to the playoffs has made it a good season no matter what......

Glasgow vs Verlander. Tough challenge. Astros could be mlb's best. Tough hitters.

Glasnow pitched a very good game, tough loss, got out of hand. Errors. Younger players kind of looked like deer in headlights. No problem. Playing odds on fav to win World Series. Respectable game for awhile. 6-2 loss game 1.

Mowed down by Gerrit Cole.

Couldn't mount a rally with bases loaded, no outs in the ninth.....

Down 0-2

Great to see the Trop full the last two nights. Even better to hear how loud it was in person. I sat behind the Astros' owner and his friends/family. Actually felt bad for them.

The Rays were a hit away from winning game 2 when Cole started. I think they can score some runs a little earlier for game 5 but I also expect the Astros' bats to wake up. Should be a great finale!

I just moved to Sarasota 2 years ago from the Northern Atlanta 'burbs. I'm trying to get excited about the Rays, but the Braves are still in my blood. Austin Meadows is from the area we lived at in ATL. I LOVE what the ownership and management has done by building such a solid team on such a small payroll. The pitching is amazing, and they have just enough offense to win games.

We went to a promotional mid-week day game for $3, or some crazy low price like that, and we had a nice time even though we lost that day. We thought the stadium was great, and I failed to see why people knocked it so much. We stayed at a old historic hotel down the street from the Trop, and they offered free shuttle to and from the game, so we didn't have to pay for parking. The following morning, we checked out, went straight to Mazzaro's for lunch, and to stock up on great Italian foods and wines. Great overnight getaway. We'll be doing that again several times next year.

I'd love to see the Rays beat the Astros.

I went to a Red Sox playoff game there and it was INSANE to see all the seats full! Sox lost that game but eventually won and moved on.

I love that the Rays are playing this well with the lowest payroll in MLB! More guys like Kiermaier and less A-Rod, Manny Machado types that were simply overpaid and brought too much negativity to the game.

Kills me to see Rays players playing for other teams (they had to go where the money was....don't blame them) but the Rays need to retain guys like David Price, Odorizzi, etc.
