As always, a made-up accusation by someone who only sees negatives. This might be the most wrong you've ever been, which is no small feat.

Looking back, the Rays have only goofed by waiting TOO long to trade their better players. The list of high-dollar Rays players either traded or "lost" to free agency is a who's-who of under-achievers, including multiple huge-dollar DFA's: Crawford, Price, Upton, Longoria, Shields, Myers, Archer, Cobb, Souza, Pena, etc etc.

The only bad trade I can recall was Shields/Davis for Wil Myers. Shields should have been traded far earlier and Wil Myers was a cancer to the Rays clubhouse. He also cost the Rays the 2013 ALDS which they were favored to win. Shields was paid $65mil for the last three years, by the way, and only won 18 total games.

The family tree of players who helped the Rays stemming from the Delmon Young trade is STILL being talked about.

No team bats 1.000 in their trades/signings but I'm dying to know who you think the Rays should have kept? Keep in mind how much that player would go on to be overpaid.

I'm not in the minority regarding Montreal as the owners and city of Montreal are in full agreement. A split city team is 100x better than no team which you don't seem to realize IS THE ALTERNATIVE. What you Tampa "fans" think is irrelevant anyways. You've had your chance to vote (attend games) and abstain EVERY year, even when the Rays are in first place, in the post-season, etc. Let the real fans try to keep the Rays partially in Florida. You've done enough.

2 Brand New Stadiums? absolutely not needed. Montreal has Olympic Stadium and Tampa Bay has Tropicana Field, both have nothing wrong with them.

The Home game schedule is a problem. It should be Month to Month, Instead of 3 months in Tampa Bay and 3 over in Montreal.

Instead, get rid of Season Tickets. Sell tickets to games like Movie Theaters are doing. You pick the day and seat you want. Most all of these Season Ticket Holders are bought from Corporations who never show up when the Rays are doing real bad.
I'm not sure this idea is going to work as it ends up costing a lot of money for both locales and they end up with only half a team, kinda like sharing your girlfriend.

Huh?? This is the way tickets have been sold the entire time. There are barely 1000 seats per game held by Rays season ticket holders....out of 25,000+. The empty seats you're seeing are not due to companies paying for them and not attending. It's individual Tampa residents not attending the games (even when the Rays are in first place).

Despite TBMorgan's achingly negative point of view, the Rays are in very good shape right now. After the series finale against Boston, the Rays play nothing but horrible teams for the next three weeks. Snell will be back just after that and hopefully Glasnow too.

While NY and BOS did nothing at the trade deadline, the Rays picked up .297 hitter/versatile fielder Sogard, right-handed slugger Aguilar, a 4th starter, and a so-so reliever.

Look for the lead against Boston to increase and the gap between NY to close this month.
