You better take down the Serbs in the final!
I was actually surprised that this was the first semi-final ever for the volleyball ladies... considering Dutch people are the tallest in the world. I also don't understand why we're not better at basketball

Just the tradition I guess...

All the teams in semifinals are from the same group.

Just found out China lost 3-0 against Serbia in the group. Good luck!

Maybe a small nation like Serbia deserves a gold? But China needs the gold to beat Britain too

There are reasons why he is so popular.

While at the Beijing Olympics he visited survivors of the terrible earthquake and donated $50,000 (this was when he had only one sponsor and wasn't fabulous wealthy). http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2...nt_6964720.htm

He also arranged for Jamaican vacations for some of the kids.

The packed stadium sang happy birthday:

The crowd clapping and stomping feet in unison, in anticipation of an attempt at a field event, was begun at Hayward Field in Eugene, in 1962. The first athlete to elicit and encourage this response, was Werner Sonnenschien, a triple-jumper for the University of Oregon, who came from Germany. The practice has been endemic to this venue ever since. Anyone who was irritated by it there, would be completely outnumbered and unheeded.
