Not much damage really. They will sink right back into the abyss they were in before the Olympics.
Sink back? They never rose above it. How were the games any good? Sure the athletes were great, but Brazilian accommodations and organization were terrible. The dirty water and the green diving pool are just two examples. Simply amazing.
There is no white athlete in 100m semifinals, but there are several Asians.
There was no Asian athlete in the women's 200m finals, but there was a Caucasian Silver Medalist (Dafne Schippers)
