Japan has done relatively well in the past few Olympics in the 4 x 100m relay.

In 2008, they got bronze. In 2012, they came in fourth.

Tonight they got silver.

They are proof that getting the techniques down pays off, the sum of the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

That doesn't. The advantage was already clear before the last runner. It is unfair to say the Japanese did well because they have a half-Jamaican.
