I think Winco and Costco are better deals. Walmart around here has a funny vibe. Their prices are almost right in line with Safeway. You have to look very hard to find something a lot cheaper. It's almost like you have to go to several stores to get the lowest prices because they gouge you in one area or another.

I need to force myself to drive over that way more often. It's a trek of about 7 miles. And, they are mob scenes.

I'm 5'5 and I only have to go for something on the top shelf like twice a year.

Wilie, locally Winco is the cheapest and the best quality. I don’t like Walmart ‘s food quality.

I really just tried Walmart a couple of times. I do not think I ever bought produce or meat there. I think I bought yogurt and that type of stuff.

20+ years ago I used to shop there strictly for cleaning supplies as I lived for a couple of years just across the freeway from a main store.

Agree. Walmart is the closest market to our house, but it is the last place I'll go if I have other options.

I like Costco and TJs for their products and their service, and we do a big Winco shopping whenever we are in the area. The few times I needed assistance, they were very helpful.

It's the top shelf stuff that really bugs me. Sometimes I have to knock a bunch of stuff over or else if I don't see an employee I just have to skip it.
People like you ask people like me to get things off high shelves in supermarkets. I don't mind. Look around for the tall people.

It makes sense. Sunflowers are tall flowers.

Oh, you have no idea. I am not shy and I will ask for help. ... Sometimes it seems like everyone in the store is 6 feet tall and other times I look around and she short people everywhere. LOL
