Okay, I am a believer in The Father, Son and Holy Ghost..I believe God created the world and everything in it..I believe the world is millions of years old and that God also used evolution in many instances in His wonderful creation..I believe man became disobedient to God because of their need to be independent of Him..I believe Christ is Gods Son whom he allowed to be a perfect sacrifice for our sins of rejection, yet He loved us enough to offer redemption..Thats about it Except I believe there is no burning torturous eternal hellfire for Gods disobedient children..I believe in either eternal life or eternal death...That Is my personal belief and I believe it is MY path to the creator..I believe everyone has their own path to follow, but it all leads to Him in the end..There is no reason for me to think my path is right for you or anyone else, that is why I am tolerant of the other ways..Even if the other way is no belief in God, creator or an after life
Hmmm...I don't know Miss Blue but regardless of whichever religion one practices..there has to be order and guidelines. Which is why God sent down all those prophets/messengers. To lead the flock and to teach them the proper/correct way to worship Him. Just like in a society, rules govern or else there could be chaos; so same goes for religion. There has to be a leader who teaches the rest what God (maybe via his Angels) taught him regarding the prayers, charity etc etc. That is do as was taught to the prophets and handed down to the flock, that pleases God.
"A person isn't who they are during the last conversation you had with them - they're who they've been throughout your whole relationship." Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926)
It has come to me that there is a mystery that underlies all things. I stand in awe and wonder at the splendor of all that is and the mystery that holds and sustains me and I say in the words of the Hebrew prophets: "Dyanu!" It is certainly enough.
