First, I'm assuming he's already happy, since he didn't say he was miserable.
Second, converting to a religion implies that he believes what that religion teaches. I've never understood why some people think you can CHANGE whether you believe something or you don't. He doesn't believe any of that Christian stuff. End of story.

THINK! How is that possible?

Won't somebody answer???
How can he convert to something in which he does not believe?

Of course he can't, mensaguy!. That is the whole fallacy of the evangelist interpretation of the "great commission." People always seek evidence that they have achieved their goals. This is why clinical psychologists and psychiatrists claim to have cured (or made dangerously mentally disturbed individuals safe to be among us) . . . even though they have no such capability. Evangels seek this outward profession as proof they are achieving their commission. It is meaningless and pointless because as you suggest . . . people believe what they believe and can NOT choose to believe what they do NOT believe. Belief is NOT a choice.
How can he convert to something in which he does not believe?
No intelligent + ethical human could do so. But plenty of others who lack one or both of those requirements are lip-service Christians. We've all seen them. They attend church and drop their dimes in the collection plate in the hopes that doing so will grease their path to heaven. But otherwise, god/religion is an afterthought.
How can he convert to something in which he does not believe?
He can't. Although those that believe we have free-will would say you could. Truth is we are deterministic, and therefore we cannot simply change our belief system.

He can't. At least not with Christianity. Muslims, of course, have forced conversions all the time in the Middle East. I'd suggest he get some intestinal fortitude and tell them he isn't interested, or he opens his mind to consider it.

You are REALLY fixated on this. Your hatred is amazing.
The thread is about attempted Christian conversion. Try to stay on topic without yet another jab at Muslims...if that's even possible for you.
There are any number of ways to handle this. Ignore it and change the topic. Ask them to drop the subject. Drop them as friends. Espouse your own beliefs or lack thereof. Point out the lack of evidence for their faith and label it superstition. Pick some obscure and non-threatening religion and "convert" to it - then every time they pressure you, pressure them back. Or pick something offensive to them like Satanism, and use that. Have FUN with it!
I've had religious friends, and most are okay with just leaving it out of conversation rather than offend me. A couple needed to be poked back at before they stopped poking me, then all was good.
That shouldn't take very long before they will be asking you, What's your secret?

Then go to the bathroom and get some very powerful toilet bleach. Pour them a glass, draw their attention to the part that says "...and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all, then ask them to drink from the glass. When they refuse to do so, ask them why they are expecting you to believe something that they clearly don't believe themselves.
P.S Word of warning: It might be best to use an empty bleach bottle that has been filled with water. Some of them are crazy enough to believe the verse and drink!
I like Rafius' test of faith, but instead of water make it urine, for "it is not what goes into the mouth of man that defiles him, but what comes out his mouth." ~ Matt 15:11
Ask them how either Islam or Christianity make slavery (in all forms) immoral.
p.s. don't feed urine to your Christian friend, it was just a joke that you can play on him. maybe make it yellow tea instead of water, but if he realizes it is not bleach, tell him it's "non-defiling" urine which still fits as a test of the worth of his mustard seed.
ACTUALLY, why don't you "care" about your friends like they "care" about you and bring them OUR way... they might just learn something.
Definitely have the Muslim and Christian debate each other with you as moderator and judge, film it, and put it on youtube so that we can enjoy watching and mocking the ridiculous shallowness of both their Abrahamic religions. Then extend your charity to them and teach them reality for free. Tell them both that their failure is causing you to consider devoting yourself to atheism and to fully reject even the possibility of an illogical word such as "supernatural."

No, they don't care about him. They care about their own salvation.
Christians don't earn salvation by adding notches to their belts. I'm not sure what your point is.
