Well, that way they can blame Bush for being late in Haiti?

Default Good for him.

"Mr. Bush's new role, while it invites the spotlight, involves a relatively non-controversial humanitarian cause, the sort of work typically undertaken by ex-presidents. It also echoes a move by Mr. Bush himself, when he was president and named his father and Mr. Clinton to head relief efforts following the Asian tsunami in 2004."

Yeah, of course so many benefitted from missing the simple things like potable water in the aftermath of the storm, 'Brownie did a GREAT job!-,. eh?

Ya wanna talk about being responsible for oneself? Why not ask the Iraqis and any number of corrupt regimes we've supported over the years?

Yeah, he was too busy destroying Iraq's health care system at the expense of US citizens

Yes, simply "protocol". Bush wil never go above and beyond. He would not even meet with Cindy Sheehan to answer her question. Why should he have? Her beloved son only sacrificed his relatively short life for Bush and Cheney's bogus war.

Her son wanted to go. That said, I understand her pain and anger along with all the thousands of other moms that lost their children in this insipd war and will lose their children under this admisistration. War is hell.

"that you don't know that Obama is the one who asked Bush Jr. and Clinton to step up to the plate to do this?"

And all those who have responded negatively about Bush in this matter wonder why most people on this board don't take them seriously.

Thier hate is so strong they are compleltely blind to anything good about Bush or Conservatives.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. The negative responces on here shows alot of minds are wasted.

How in hell is that comment you quoted indicative of "hate" towards Bush? How can you spin that comment into "hate so strong they are compleltely [sic] blind to anything good about Bush"? Did you even bother reading the comment to which that post was a response?

Thank you.
This is not a partisan effort. I applaud Presidents Clinton and Bush for answering the call.
