i see virtually no difference between the transition from bush to obama, so it is no surprise that they are all working together. (including clinton).

i wonder how much of the aid is actually going to make it to the injured and the poor.

Are you so misinformed on this topic, Sarene, that you don't know that Obama is the one who asked Bush Jr. and Clinton to step up to the plate to do this? It's a bipartisan effort to duplicate what Clinton and Bush Sr. did for a few years back to help after the tsunami. But then 'bipartisan' seems to be a word that is missing from a lot of people's vocabulary involved in this Haiti discussion.

You really need to get your eyes and ears checked.

Bush is going to Haiti?

For the love of God, haven't they suffered enough?

He did a lot of good work in Africa while President. Because he didn't get a lot of press for this work it has often gone unnoticed. Perhaps he can do good work in Haiti too.

Despite being a miserable failure of a president, I give him thumbs up and I'm sure he can be useful on something like this. (plus, one of the few good things I remember of his presidency was his initiative to help Africa)

Maybe he can organize a baseball team there, or something.

Not to make light of the devastation in Haiti, I gotta admit, that DID make me laugh.
