No I don't. I can as I have a Concealed Weapons Permit, as they are called here in Maine, but I don't see the need in this State. We have a very very low crime rate in Maine.
I use the permit to allow me to conceal guns in cases when we hunt in Unorganized Territories. It's against the game laws to have a gun hidden unless it's taken down into three pieces and stored seperately on Sundays in Unorganized Territories here in Maine ...Sunday hunting is illegal in Maine. We use the permits, which trump local law, to allow us to keep the guns in one piece. They're still cased but you don't have to take them down. It's an archane law and seldom enforced but we don't want to be accused of doing anything illegal when it comes to gun laws.

Don't need a gun to feel like a man. I pack my own heat.

Woman make up the fastest growing group of people carrying concealed weapons.

Your explanation?

I don't but certainly support the rights of someone that does. The area I live in is reasonably safe however if I lived in an area where the need for one was more likely I'd carry it. The one point in my life where I would have carried a gun was when I had large sums of money on me daily basis because of my job and many people knew I had it but the law said I couldn't carry a gun during these times so no gun.

Ever carry a gun? It's a PITA. literally and figuratively.

I live in NY where it's just about impossible to get a CCW permit. However, I have a Utah CCW that allows me to carry in 28 States and I carry whenever I am in one of those States. I also do carry to and from the range and hunting in NY which is legal. Why? Because it's my right to and because I believe a gun is sometimes the only viable protection in some circumstances. This, plus the fact that it is a right granted to all law abiding citizens of The US. I won't wait for the illegal and un-Constitutional laws of too many states to be declared as such and will carry as often and where ever I deem it necessary for my and my loved ones protection.

The reason for carrying concealed, is so that no one will know you're carrying. Especially the potential bad guys.

And here somebody wants us to tell him?

I carry. I have an Arizona CHP and I'm old. I'm considered "prey" to the meth heads out there.

How did you use the weapon for protection? What were the circumstances around the reason?

Yes. Why? Because it's my right. Because I'm a woman. Because I refuse to be a victim.

I don't carry, concealed (no permit, though I could get one) or openly (legal in AZ). So far, I haven't felt the need, even in the rootin', tootin', gun-totin' state of Arizona!
