I think this may be an interesting gun thread.

Plz note that I talk about handgun CARRY,
with a concealed carry permit ( CCL),
not posession of a handgun at home.

Let's hear your comments, especially of those who don't want to carry...

I do not carry, and I don't because I don't think the state of Texas has a right to charge me for my rights under the second amendment...We went to the deer lease this weekend and there is no law that says I could not have carried a hand gun with me.. And I don't understand why I can then but not everyday without paying the state....

I carry a Kel-Tec p3at pocket pistol or a 1911 with a crossbreed iwb holster when it gets colder and I can hide it easier. Also have an springfield xdm9 I've been thinking about carrying. As far as on campus, it's a big no no so I have to leave it in the car. Although, I've been tempted with keeping the pocket pistol on campus. Figure that if I have to use it to defend innocent lives, NC State may rethink their "no handguns on campus" policy.

Yes. Never leave home without it. Either on my person or in my vehicle. Why? Because I see no need for the criminal to unnecessarily have the upper hand. Nothing complicated or controversial about that.

I carry everywhere. Why? Checked the local news lately?? Too bad some of those soldiers at Ft. Hood weren't armed. Too bad somebody at Luby's wasn't armed. Too bad somebody at Columbine wasn't armed. And on and on it goes.

I carry a concealed weapon - and have had the occasion to use a weapon for protection.

My wife carries a concealed weapon also.

I used to have an xd40 subcompact but thought it was too chunky for my crossbreed holster so I sold it. What do you use to holster it?
