I do applaud the man for standing for his principals. I would do the same.
I would do the same too but the problem begins when one needs a medical procedure. Comply with the idiocy or forgo the procedure! Since this idiocy has surfaced on my shores, I have been contemplating what I will do. So far, the filling in of gender choice is voluntary and as far as I know, that's as far as it goes at this point. It seems the lefties are concentrating their efforts on Agenda 21. But if they were to go as far as the UK, then I will be forced to make a stand and I am sure most others will too.
I wouldn't go and take to the press though...to me that's whiny.
I would just stand by my principals and go on about my life..their loss, not mine.
Well, no, it's not really the blood bank's loss.
It's a loss to a person who needs blood to survive.
There's a bigger picture here, and considering how much blood this man has donated over his life, it appears it was very important to him to realize he was saving lives.
Until he had to answer whether he was pregnant or not, on a form, and then it wasn't important at all to him.
What was more important to him, as you say, was being "whiney".
I would think. But if it has to be answered, like some forms do, then just answer no. Some forms request that no question be left blank.
Which is 100% the way it should be. You can't give the receptionist (or whoever collects the form) authority to decide which questions are important and which questions can be left open.
Anyway, this dramatic snowflake has wasted enough electrons for now.
Just understand most rational adults might take a moment to laugh it off, answer factually and roll up the sleeve.
What, being all grown-up and stuff? Responsible? Caring for someone not you? Heresy!
